Story of a teenage girl's life

This is the story of a girl.
This story is regarding one part of her life she wishes to share with everyone.
But first things first.

She is just a typical teenage girl whose eyes brighten up at the very word "Shopping".
Who would walk the whole day shopping in heels.(Depending on what kind)
She delights in a beautiful pair of shoes or a gorgeous looking dress.
Actually she delights in anything that looks nice.
She would have the small urge to walk in the same store she walked in just a week ago.

Some of her friends even label her a shopaholic.
A statement she never admit to nor ever complain about.
One of her friends even say she shares a striking resemblance to Rebecca Bloonwood of Confessions of a Shopaholic.
That statement she denies.

After all, Rebecca's definition of why she goes shopping is, and I quote,
"Shopping makes the world a happier place. Whenever I buy something, the world just seems happier. And when it stops being happy, I just need to buy something again."
If that is the definition of a shopaholic, this girl is definitely not one.

But today her story isn't about her so called shopaholic life, but more focus on a peculiar incident, a peculiar event in her shopping life.

This event is the infamous event about her and her dress.

A while ago, this girl went to Mid Valley with her dear friend. She walks into her favourite store and practically falls in love with this dress.
Sadly to her dismay, as to many girls who walk in Topshop, she was reluctant to fork out the amount to pay for the dress.
Walking out of the store, she made a mental note bout the dress.

Due to some personal issue, she got the finances to buy her dress.
Obviously being on top of the moon, she decided to go shopping after school to purchase the dress.
But sadly time really wasn't on her side.By the time she went to purchase the dress, it was during the sales season when everything was not where it was anymore.
Her friend and her started looking around the store but it was not there.
She went into a whole 180 degree change in emotions and was a bit gloomy for a while after that.

One of her dear friend even drank this supposed to be disgusting drink just to cheer her up.
It sort of did.=)

But still filled with hope, she decided to try to look for it elsewhere.
So after church on another day, her family all went to One Utama to search for her dress.
She ask the counter lady where was it and she too help her look for it.
The counter lady even took out a chinese newspaper article of a celebrity wearing that dress. Maybe that explains why both shopping centres don't have it.
Many people decided the dress was nice and went to go buy it.
The lady explained that they transfer the dresses elsewhere as the only size left was 10 and above.
She also added that Sunway, Mid Valley also don't have the dress.
The poor girl became gloomy again after that.

Later at night, she went to Pavilion to celebrate her sister's birthday with a good meal of steak. Right before they left, they went to Topshop to check out whether the dress was there.

The poor girl, went in, look around a little, and saw the dress.
She immediately directly went towards the dress as if some force was pulling her towards it.
She went through all the sizes and found her size.
The last one.
Praise God!=D
She turned to her mother who just walk in the store with a look of sheer happiness you could have sworn she just got a car or something.
She tried it on, took it off and purchase it there and then.
The dress was bought.

This whole story, how dramatic it sounds, is real. Though perhaps at some small part have been exaggerated for a tiny bit, it is the truth.

Oh and this whole event happen in just three days.

Many people were involved in this drama and the grateful girl just want to thank them for sticking with her and for trying to make her happy when she was sad.
Special thanks to Thong Ding.=)
Thank you Carmen and Eileen.(Even when Eileen did not fully support her buying the dress)
Thank you Klothilda.
And of course Sean. She will never forget what you did.
Thank you to her beloved sister whose night was suppose to belong to her, shared it with the girl for her to buy her dress.
Big thanks to her parents for knowing full well she wanted that dress and paid for it.=)

So thank you to all.

p.s.

I went to prayer meeting on Friday.
It was nice to be so close and in touch with God after so long.
I decided I really will make an effort in going to Christian Fellowship and to read the Bible more.=)
